Memorial Day Weekend Hair Style Ideas

Monday, May 28th is Memorial Day, the last Monday in May. This federally recognized holiday began after the Civil War to recognize the fallen Union soldiers. The United States wanted to commemorate the brave service members that have given their lives for our nation. It originated as Decoration Day, as Americans would use the day to dress graves with flowers, crosses, American flags, and other memorabilia.

By the 20th century, the holiday had spread throughout the entire region, and was no longer a day to  remember only fallen service members. Families began decorating the graves of all passed away loved ones and using it as an opportunity to gather for barbecues, and other outdoor activities. Memorial Day weekend also marks the beginning of the summer vacationing season, where most people enjoy the beautiful weather.

The last concern you should have is how you will wear your hair, when you can sport a stylish look with little effort at minimum cost. Ponytails also protect the ends of the hair from harmful UV rays. Forever Younghas several fashionable styles that will keep your hair out of your face, yet still feel lightweight and secure on your head.

Sometimes stress from work or family life can cause hair loss or thinning hair, making a ponytail impossible. Sweeping it to one side or adding a fall or 3/4 wig can make a huge difference. Take pride in the way you look without spending a lot of your valuable time. If you are on our mailing list, look out for even more of a reason to shop these styles and more.
