SAG Awards 2012 – Hairstyles Like the Stars

The annual broadcast of the Screen Actors Guild Awards is highly anticipated and viewed. This year was no different. People enjoy awards shows for their own reasons, usually to support their favorite actors, favorite movies, or to watch the fashion and hairstyle trends of the season. Celebrities set trends with their designer dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories. Hairstyles would fall into the category of an accessory when it comes to what is being worn.

This season had a Red Carpet full or up-do’s and hairstyles that can be easily done with ponytails and extensions!

Though ponytails swept back or up dominated the Red Carpet for most of the night, some actors wore simple yet fabulous hair that rests right above the breast line. This look can be altered to suit your face shape or to conceal any blemishes on the top of the face. Adding extensions is as simple as styling your hair normally, parting the hair according to package instructions and width of extension.

If you already have a shorter hairstyle, you can simply add the two, 10″, 14″ or 18″ clip in extensions and curl. Using a big curler and mouse or hairspray, this look is easy to achieve. If volume is your aim, try the EasiVolume Heat Defiant clip in extension that can also be flat-ironed, blow-dried, or curled.
